In the morning, we went on the Glass Bottom boat adventure (one of the free things we got from the timeshare). Since it was rehearsal day, Kathryn, Eric, John, and Karen couldn't come along so we dragged Rose, Kellie, and Jason with us. We didn't know what time the tour was so we headed out to the Marina around 11 AM. By the time we got there and found our vendor, we were told to wait about 45 minutes for the next boat. Cabo is nice, but when it's ninety something degrees outside, waiting 45 minutes was not very pleasing. While we were trying to figure out where the vendor was, some guy came up to us with this big gigantic iguana. I was paying attention so Michael calmly told me to get behind him. I had no idea what he was doing until I saw the iguana right in front of me. Oh boy, did I scream. I think I scared the iguana more than the iguana scared me. I think everyone around me stopped to see what was going on because I scream so loud. From then on, I was very cautious of where the iguanas were. While we were waiting, a girl came by with another iguana and put it into the shoulder of another tourist without saying anything. I guess they do this to see if you want to take a picture with the iguana and if you do, it'll cost you $2. Upon seeing this, I quietly left the scene and walk about 30 feet away. From afar, I constantly looked to see if the iguana was gone. Unknowing to me, there was a guy with an iguana right behind me. So, when he came up to me and tapped me, I let out this awful scream. Once again, the attention of the whole market was on me. The tour guide who was going to take us on the Glass Bottom boat was also there and couldn't stop laughing at me. When we got onto the boat, he was still teasing me about how they just taste like chicken.
During the tour, we got to see the famous arch (that really look more like a dinosaur drinking water), Land's End (a.k.a. Hawaii), Lover's Beach, and Divorce Beach. We also got to see where the Sea of Cortez met the Pacific Ocean.
After the trip, we went back to the hotel for lunch and waited for my niece and her friend to arrive. After they arrived, we headed off to our horseback riding adventure. This trip taught me one thing about taxi rides in Cabo. Always ask how much the ride cost before getting on and that you really don't have a lot of bargaining power when your final destination is in a remote area. The horseback riding experience was nice. My horse was just like me, bossy, stubborn, and always wanted to be first. At the beginning, Jenny's horse was before mine, but it didn't take long for my horse to overcome hers. From that moment on, he never gave up the lead position. There were many times when either Jason or Michael tried to catch up and take the lead from me, but my horse refused to let that happen.
After horseback riding, we went back to the hotel. After dinner, we met up with the big group and watched the live show. After that, we went to the night club inside the hotel and didn't go to bed until 1 AM in the morning.
